The valuation, comparison and simulation tools perform their calculations in your browser. The application does not save the values entered.

Contact and appointment forms may include your name, email, phone, commune, topic, preferred time and message. When you submit the form, these details are placed in a new email in your email application. Transmission only begins if you send it.

ECK Assist is a rule-based request-preparation tool running in the browser. No message is sent to an external artificial intelligence provider.

Purposes and legal basis after sending

When an email is sent to ECK, the data is used to answer your request, arrange an appointment, prepare a valuation or take steps towards a potential contractual relationship. Processing is based, as applicable, on taking pre-contractual steps at your request or the legitimate interest in answering and securing communications.

Hosting and technical data

The public website is hosted with ChatGPT Sites. OpenAI Ireland Limited acts as processor for hosting, maintenance and support and may process technical data generated when you access the site, including your IP address and log, usage and device information, as well as strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies. Retention and recipients

The application does not store a copy of any form submission. A sent email is received by authorised ECK personnel and processed using the email provider that serves the eck-immobiliere.lu domain. An enquiry that does not lead to a business relationship is deleted no later than twelve months after the last substantive exchange, unless a legal duty or evidence needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims requires longer retention. Contract, accounting and due-diligence files are kept for the applicable statutory periods. Contact ECK to enquire about or request deletion of specific correspondence.

Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may exercise them via contact@eck-immobiliere.lu and lodge a complaint with the CNPD Luxembourg ↗.

Purposes and specific legal bases

A specific appointment, quotation, sale, purchase, rental or valuation request is processed to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Processing of general correspondence may rely on ECK’s legitimate interest in answering enquiries and securing business communications (point f). Name and email are required so ECK can answer; without them the request cannot be handled. Phone and further details are optional. A contact request is not consent to marketing.

Recipients, statistics, transfers and retention

Recipients may include authorised ECK personnel, OpenAI Ireland Limited as technical processor for ChatGPT Sites, its published subprocessors and, after an email is sent, the relevant email providers or an identified service partner. OpenAI subprocessor list ↗

ChatGPT Sites automatically measures traffic and provides ECK with aggregated unique-visitor and page-view statistics. Secure and reliable delivery, error detection and general site improvement are the legitimate interests pursued under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. ECK’s internal rule: an enquiry without a mandate is deleted no later than twelve months after the last substantive exchange. KYC/AML and transaction evidence is kept for five years after the relationship or occasional transaction ends and extended only in cases provided by law. Accounting evidence is kept for ten years from the end of the relevant financial year. Contract evidence is archived only as necessary until the applicable limitation period expires. Technical platform data is processed for the service term and thereafter as required for post-termination obligations and deletion under the ChatGPT Sites Addendum.

Automated decisions and complaints
