How is the quote prepared?
No single commission rate is promised. Commission, any fees and when they become payable are agreed in writing. The agreement also covers payment arrangements, the length of the assignment and unsold items. Transport and storage are not automatically included.

- Item type, brand if known and dimensions.
- Condition, known defects and details needed for an accurate description.
- The commune, access and the date the property must be empty.
- Your preferred price and confirmation that you are authorised to sell the items.
Your questions
Is a sale guaranteed?
No. Buyer interest depends on factors including condition, price and demand. Neither a sale date nor a final amount can be guaranteed before an agreement is reached with a buyer.
How does this differ from a direct purchase?
In a commission sale, the items are offered to buyers under the agreed arrangement. A direct purchase requires a separate purchase offer accepted in writing. Submitting an enquiry is neither a sale nor acceptance of a purchase offer.
What happens if an item does not sell?
The agreement sets out the next steps, such as continuing to offer the item, withdrawing it or another agreed solution. Clearance, transport or storage requires a specific agreement if not already included.
